Santa's Visit

Each December our local Little People of America chapter has the annual Christmas party. It's a tradition for Santa to bring gifts and make an appearance. I was so happy that both the girls enjoyed sitting on his lap and didn't cry, fuss, or get scared. They were all smiles!

More Pictures

Russell's parents have this big barn behind their house. When Russell was growing up they kept a cow or two and chickens behind it. The barn housed the tractor and equipment for growing and harvesting alfalfa. Now the animals and hay fields are gone, but the big barn still stands. It makes a great back-drop for family photos. The whole family has used it a time or two. Mia can't stand up on her own yet, but we thought the pictures standing were cute.

Halloween Fun!

Church Halloween Party, a few days before Halloween. It was time for bed!
Adawna was a witch with a spider in her hair, Priya a bee, and Mia a lady bug!

On Halloween we went Trick-or-Treating at Russ' office building. Priya filled up her happy meal Trick-or-Treat bucket twice! She got lots of candy (to share with mom and dad!)
It only took her about 2 times to get the hang of this 'Trick-or-Treat' stuff. Then she kept saying 'more!' 'more!' 'more Trick-or-Treat!' She had lots of fun and Sameeha enjoyed the stroller ride and having lots of attention.
Priya enjoying being outside after trick-or-treating, while waiting for Daddy.

Say 'Cheese!'
'say, what?!'

Russ dressed up as a Pirate for work....with a little encouragement from Adawna.

Bobbing for apples on Halloween night with our cousins.
Priya thought that was a pretty funny game to play!

Each October we love to go with our friends to the pumpkin patch! This was Priya and Sameeha's first time going with us. Our friends are also little people, and they are both adopted too! RP is from India and TK was born in the states. We love spending time with them and their family. They are our wonderful and great friends! We love them!

Priya wanted to stand up, but the driver said to sit down.Priya and Daddy went off in search of the perfect pumpkin.

While Mommy and Sameeha took some photos.

October 2011

Sameeha rolled over for the first time on October 4th. She was proud of herself.

Priya thought this was more fun than Sameeha did.

Fall Fun

Our trip to the State Fair!
Priya loves cows!

Priya and Sameeha got to go with all the family to Great Great Grandpa's cabin in the mountains!

Sameeha turned 4 months old on September 11th. We tried rice cereal for the first time. She wasn't impressed. I think we'll wait a while longer before we try again.

Not sure what to think of this gooey mess!
I layed Sameeha down on the blanket while I was cleaning the basement. Next thing I know, both girls are asleep.

The cute little sisters sucking their fingers.

I came into the bedroom....Sameeha was sleeping, I thought. I found Priya in the bassinet with Mia having a good time together, drinking a water bottle.
